There are numerous web-based email service providers that you can use, but having a mailbox with your own domain will provide you with more credibility if you are running a business, for example, not to mention that with web-based email services there are limitations on the size of the attachments that you can receive or send. If you use an email service that supports the POP3 and IMAP protocols, you won’t bump into such problems and you’ll be able to use any software program on your PC to check your email accounts, including Outlook, Apple Mail or Thunderbird. You can even set up an email account on your smartphone. The difference between the two email protocols is that with IMAP, an email message is displayed locally at your end, but remains on the mail server, while with POP3, the message is downloaded on your PC, unless you configure the program in such a way as to store a copy on the server.

POP3 IMAP E-mail Accounts in Hosting

You will be able to use any email client and any device to check your emails if you order any of our hosting. Our mail servers offer support for both email protocols (IMAP and POP3), so you can select the one that satisfies your interests – you can download all email messages to your PC or you can keep the messages on the mail server in case you have a firm and different people need to gain access to them, for instance. You can even download an auto-configuration file for a particular email account for any of the three most widely used desktop email clients – Thunderbird, Outlook and Apple Mail. You will just have to run the file on your computer and that mailbox will be automatically set up. If you would rather use your phone, we’ve included comprehensive tutorials on how to create a mailbox on an Android- or an iOS-based device.
